We are pleased to announce that Cyndx LLC entered into an agreement with Mode Media to take over the operations of Ning Inc from Mode Media effective immediately.  The Ning and Cyndx teams together are bigger, stronger, and better positioned to provide innovative media solutions that will improve our customers social experience.

Our combined organization is committed to maintaining excellence and strong customer relationships throughout the integration and providing you with superior levels of service and product quality.  A new dedicated team from across the organization will ensure that the transition period is seamless for you while seeking new ways to improve overall service levels.

  • I'm excited!!! Cyndx is a major investment and technology group. They're most likely going to make Ning top-notch and up to date and then sell the company or take it public. Altho they may decide to keep it, since they do offer IT services.

    Either way, Ning is not longer in hospice.

    • Sure they describe themselves as a financial institution that utilizes technology, but that's a far cry from expecting them to have any knowledge of tech used to enhance social media.  It is a description to announce that they use tech to streamline communications between their financial dealings.  Def not the next Facebook haha.

    • A major tech group?  Are you kidding?  They have between 11-50 employees and no where in their Linkdin description do they profess to know anything about technology and social networking.  They are here to most likely liquidate assets of a bankrupt co.

  • Thank you for what I consider to be good news. I am a Ning veteran (first Ning social network in 2008, still alive) and now proud co-owner of DataScienceCentral (on Ning 2.0), one of the largest social network for data scientists. There have been ups and downs, but hopefully we are heading in the right directions.  We also have a few networks on ning 3.0, including IoTCentral

      I've had very little problems using Ning. I'm on 3.00 and it works great.

      I'm also looking forward and not back.
