We are pleased to announce that Cyndx LLC entered into an agreement with Mode Media to take over the operations of Ning Inc from Mode Media effective immediately.  The Ning and Cyndx teams together are bigger, stronger, and better positioned to provide innovative media solutions that will improve our customers social experience.

        • I've been submitting tickets with the information they require.  Their, albeit limited, support team is awesome.  I just wish, with all my heart, that Ning would give us some honest information of what to expect.  Just a little information would save all of us from undue heartache.

  • I just paid $599.90 two days ago for a year for PRO and was assured my site would run smoothly.  And my site is down....completely down.  WTH?  I am so stupid.

    • What else can you do?!? They have a lot of us between a rock and a hard place and they know it. We're screwed if we don't know how to move our site to another platform or can afford the doubled cost.

      • I have another site up and running and members profiles migrated over.  I am keeping it at the lowest bandwidth price for the time being.  My members know that if NING or whoever the heck it is now, runs off after closing for good....there is a place to go.  It makes me sick because it makes my organization look BAD, UNPROFESSIONAL and STUPID.

        • I am curious where you have migrated to as well. I don't want to lose the site I have worked on Completely, but That is a danger I face, and I would love to know some viable options. I have been testing one platform out, but they seem to be offering no actual Customer support. I filed two tickets more than a month ago and received no reply or help what so ever from them.

          • I want to know what Donna is up to as well, but she did say she has thus far only migrated her member profiles.  I found this:  https://excreators.com/community/  comparing the 3 platforms that can actually pull in your archived ning 2 site content, not just members profiles.

            • George, Can you explain this in layman (or doesn't know crap) terms? I have no idea how or what to do. What does this site do or what can it provide us for getting our info on to another site?

              • Roxanne not sure what exactly you r asking to george, but- if you have a ning 2 site you can use the Ning archive Tool to try and make a back up of your whole site contents- if you have a big site you need a big drive to put it your archive on like 1TB or something. If you have a ning 3 site then they have no archive tool but you can stilldownload a .csv memberdata file backup which at least has your  member names and emials and profile info. Some platforms will migrate that csv member profiles in without you site content, but thats better than nothig!
