Introducing Comment Walls

Hi All,

Today we've added an option for you to place a Comment Wall on any page in your Ning 3.0 network. You can use this to let members leave comments on custom pages, or to create a running wall of feedback. Comment walls are also available in Groups and we've added one by default to newly created groups. You can add a comment wall by clicking on "Add Content" for any of your pages under Site & pages.

You can choose between Facebook comments or any of the native comment styles (Flat, Standard and Threaded) that we provide; and you can use the same options in comment walls that you're used to for the comment sections on Forums, Photos and Blogs.

In addition to making individual pages more flexible, Comment Walls will enable us to migrate Pages and Groups from Ning 2.0 networks with all of their data intact.

Have the comment wall notifications in email?

I have add it in my site but when members reply to my comment I don't receive any notification :(

  these for custom pages no..at least not yet the other comments u should i dont think theres a follow option on these yet either

Sorry for being a little technically challenged but what do comment walls do? Does it have anything to do with the email notifications for discussions. That is what is badly needed. My site died because no one could post discussions. The only reason I'm hanging is is with the hopes the email notifiers will be put in

I have noticed that on the phones the editing option is not seeing like adding photos, videos etc.

As of yet I don't see that there is an option to receive email notifications of comments made on group comment walls. Is there a plan to add that? It is a VERY important feature. They will be pretty much worthless without that.

  Thus far there is no email notification of ''Discussions'' added to Groups, never mind no email notification of Comments added to Groups.....
