Is it possible to have the home page 3 column and all member pages 2 column? I am using layout A4. I tried a code that made all member pages 2 column but it left the far right column completely blank and white. I am looking to stretch out the middle column. Sorry for all the columns =)

Permalink Reply by pjcyto on June 4, 2012 at 3:55pm Do you mean the 2 columns that you only see in the profile? Or just one of the sides with the profiles current design? The 3 column layout makes it so that the right column shows on most pages, but the home page has all 3. You can see how it works out on the creators site, that's how that works.
Yeah, my layout for every page including my home page is A4 which is 3 columns. I want to keep my home page at A4 but I want all members mypage to be set at 2 columns so it does not look so cluttered. I was seeing if their was a CSS good for that

Permalink Reply by Patrick Chappelle on June 4, 2012 at 5:54pm Yeah, that's my wish, Robert! The two-column layout looks horrible on member's pages. If I had known this would happen, I would have gone with the three column layout, despite the fact that it would have marked my site as a Ning network.

You are not alone in that case, i'm using a 2 columns, but i want only one column on the member's page, but i don't know how to do it.

Is this what you are looking for?
Copy and paste the code into Advanced CSS
.xg_widget_profiles_profile_show .xg_3col .xg_2col, .xg_widget_profiles_profile_apps .xg_3col .xg_2col {
padding: 0 5px;
width: 784px;
}
.xg_widget_profiles_profile_show .xg_colgroup {
height: 1%;
clear: left;
width: 982px!important;
}
.xg_widget_profiles_profile_show .xg_span-5 {
display: none!important;}
Bernard, this is exactly what I was looking for. Only thing is that it does not look as I had expected it to lol. Thank you!

That means Patrick 's point of view was correct. LOL
lol, yes he was.
