I have an idea I'd like to run past you all, and Eric.

I would like to hold a contest here on Ning Creators. Is this allowed?

The contest would have to do with coding for my network, and the prize will be declared should I be allowed to do this.

Would you Creators be interested in taking part?

What kind of contest do you have in mind?

I want to hold a contest for best style sheet design. There are major upgrades handed out here on Creators, which are awesome, but I want to stand out, and I want to be different. I want to release a contest challenging the best to come up with what they can come up with, and offer the prize to the winner of my choice.

I could do a style sheet contest, functionality contest, exif data viewing/manipulating contest, splash page contest. lol

I want to take a different approach to asking for help on Creators. :)

Designs will be for Addictapic of course. Contest: who can build the best style sheet for Addictapic?

You are welcome to go for it. We've actually had a few contests on Creators before. Start a new discussion if you want, but be careful about rewards. If people don't feel there's a possible reward in it, they might be kind of tough on you. Good luck!

Ok, thank you very much Eric. I will work out the details, decide on the goal and post the contest when I'm ready.

Prize will likely be cash, and a few other really cool things from Addictapic. (I am working closely with a couple of Hong Kong OEM factories, working on something special!! )
