A feature included in Ning events creation to limit the umber of attendees to events

Hi folks,

I am really enjoying using Ning and have a private networking events and soirees site which is going really well! However now that the site is becoming popular I am worried that when I create an event at a venue which only has the capacity for 40 people 100 may turn up as I've not been able to limit the number of people attending.

If Ning could include this feature it would be fantastic, what do you think?

Well, I'm not sure we've had this request, but I do like the idea. I will pass it along to our product team.

Well, If you search for "limit event" you'll find plenty of similar posts/requests.

We are new on ning and currently evaluating the platform. We also do need this feature. Is it coming anytime soon?

Hey, Sebastian. It's not something that is currently on our Product Roadmap. Could be awhile before we add something like this.

You can change the event to private then invite those you wish to attend...
