I had problems getting the following code to work that was placed on Creators that was supposed to embed chat on any other pages. When it was copied and pasted exactly, it displayed my entire header on the new page! Naturally I replaced http://YOURNINGURL/chat/index/popOutWindow. Remember this one does not work as it was intended. Do NOT use!
<iframe src="http://YOURNINGURL/chat/index/popOutWindow" name="Chat" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" align="center" height="450px" width="450px" id="Chat"></iframe>
So... I added the very vital "V4" immediately following the link. Removed un-needed wording, and added must coding. I also checked the "Use full page width (hide sidebar)" when I finished. The following is a correct and functioning code that will work on all Ning sites, provided the code is coped exactly with the exception that you'll need to change the URL. You may also change the height and width to your needs. The following code is for you to USE.
<p><iframe width="712" height="487" align="center" src="http://yourwebsiteurlhere.com/popOutWindowV4" frameborder="no" scrolling="no"></iframe></p>

Permalink Reply by HELP SEEKER on July 9, 2012 at 8:33am hi, Scot, im doing the same - chat under pay page, do you have an idea how to remove chat site-wide pop-outs and leave chat on page only ?
Permalink Reply by Art Whitaker on July 13, 2012 at 5:11pm Thanks Scott where do you put this code?
Thanks
Art
Here is the code we use with great success.
<p><iframe name="Your Chat Room Name" width="490" height="500" style="border: 1px solid #ffffff;" src="Your Website URL//chat/index/popOutWindowV4" marginheight="0px" marginwidth="0px" frameborder="1" scrolling="yes"></iframe></p>
Simply past it into a text box in html mode.

Well! Sorry for not understanding the rules around here. I'll take a bow and gracefully shuffle off. I am not accustomed to dealing with sensitive folks. I didn't change your code, it was a code I created using an Iframe tool and it works on our site, just thought I'd throw it out there and if folks find it useful great, if not, move on. Jeez, grow up. Time to put your lives into context folks.

Permalink Reply by Patrick Chappelle on July 14, 2012 at 8:50am The rules here on creators are as folows:
1) No advertising or otherwise promoting your Ning network
2) No abusive or foul language
3) No off-topic comments. If you want to create your own thread you are free to do so (I don't see that happening here)
4) Respect your fellow network creators
5) No pornography or links to such
6) No spamming, or posting links to malicious websites.

Of course this means I've just violated one of the rules here by posting this comment, but I wanted to assure you TAW that you are not in any way in violation of these rules or terms. This is a public forum after all.
Cheers.
