Because my site just gives peoples pins out for blackberry, if people directly go to /m version of my site they can grab all the pins without signing up. Anyway to redirect to a splash page with the option for the user to signup or sign-in?

Thanks

Hi Josh,

You can always add an html page type and drag it to be first in the list, which makes it the mobile landing page. You can also include ads on that page, since it's just html and I know you're interested in that for your network and have links for new members to sign up.

Thanks,
Phil

Legend!

Would you happen to know of an html code that we could place into the mobile html box that will auto redirect to another url?

That code is for inside the <head> tags. I think the only html these mobile boxes will take are within the <body> tags.

I could be wrong. Do you know if this will actually work?

try it?

Hi Scott,

You should just be able to do something like this:

<script>document.location = 'http://example.com';</script>

Thanks,
Phil

Sweet... worked like a charm!

Got this running now - http://swapbbm.com/m

Cheers Phil

Josh, I really admire your site, the design, the number of members in such a short time. Not being a bb owner, though, I've never really understood what it's about. Are ok to explain it? Just curious really.
Cheers
SP

Thanks SP. Nothing to it really. Signup, add your pin (associated to your BlackBerry device) , search by country, gender etc; Add the member on BlackBerry Messenger. That's it!

Looks great; on the sign in link, you are linking to it like this:

?target=/m&cancelUrl=/m

You might want to do this instead, so that when someone signs in they go to the wall page:

?target=/m?id=6458471%3AMobilePage%3A186539&cancelUrl=/m
