ABLE TO LIKE MUSIC.

WHY CAN WE LIKE ALL THESE THINGS ON NING, BUT I CANT LIKE SOMEONES MUSIC OR AUDIO FILE. WHY IS MUSIC NOT EVEN INCLUDED. WHATS THE POINT OF RATING MUSIC  IF THERE IS NO PROPER WAY TO INTERACT WIT IT. LIKE, BETTER SHARING,  ADDED TO THE LEADER BOARDS.  I REALLY DONT KNO WHY U GOT SOUNDCLOUD TO MAKE A APP.I AM ASSUMING U LIKE SENDIN US TO OTHERS.   SORRY , I JUST FEEL  AUDIO IS NOT GETTING TAKEN CARE OF LIKE ,  VIDEOS, BLOGS, PICTURES, ETC.......IF ARTIST CUUD PROMOTE THEIR MUSIC OR AUDIO BETTER WOULD BE GREAT.  U GOT ARTIST ON YOUR NETWORKS, SO WHY NOT MAKE A BETTER AUDIO PLAYER AN INTERACTION.   ITS FEELS LIKE YOU GUYS ARE JUST SLUFFING IT OFF.  MIND YOU I LOVE ALLT HE OTHER FEATURES(MOST) BUT  AUDIO HASNT GOTTENA  UPGRADE AN I THINK IT NEEDS ONE BIG TIME.

 

 

I ALMOST FEEL LIKE IM THE ONLY PERSON WANTING AUDIO UPGRADES.

 

P.S. W/E HAPPEN TO THE HD VIDEO UPGRADE?

Hi Cyndea. I believe that since the Ning music player is flash-based, there are certain limitations that prevent it from being accessed through the Ning API (which means that outside program developers can't add modifications or features to it) and make it more difficult for the Ning team to modify it in general. I don't know if we'll ever see any improvements to the music player in its current state. I know your frustration because I run two music-related Ning networks myself. You think we'd get more attention from Ning since the ability to upload music is only offered to Ning Pro subscribers.
