Add "Current Road Map" in the navigation menu and give us the big picture

- A list of the features currently being worked on and as they get released there could be the latest 20 features/updates that had been added to Ning and an archive.
- Each feature on the list is a link to a feedback thread in forum where people can share ideas. Like a free R&D resource for Ning.

- Could be a great way to browse and discover features of Ning.

- I think you would amaze us all if we got a chance to really see all the features you have added in the past as well as the ones currently being worked on. If you give NCs the big picture, they will see the big picture.

- "put on hold temporarily" "saved for later" - everyone knows plans are "subject to change". At least we know what's going on. Some part of me is still waiting for video channels and built in podcasting which was announced in 2008 but got scrapped to make way for other priorities. Even though I want video channels and has not gotten it so far I still prefer to be in the know rather than speculating in the blind.

GREAT suggestion! I totally sympathize with not wanting to be TOO transparent (because features of course are prone to shift and change and date slip and everything else) but it would be great to just have a general idea of what's in the works.

All NCs are now putting their money into the product ... I think it's fair to ask for a little peek into where the product is going. :)

Hey guys!

We'd love to add a Preview section, as we once had on Network Creators. We're pretty focused right now on helping all Network Creators sign up for the new Ning Plans, but once the transition is over hopefully we can focus our energy on projects like this.

In meantime, be sure to read over the product roadmap we've posted, which is still pretty accurate.

Yes it was inspired by the product roadmap to begin with. I love reading through the roadmap! :).

Nothing is more exciting that looking through an overview BOTH has arrived and what is "in the pipeline"

This is a fantastic idea. Something I have been wishing as well. I am currently wondering about the membership fee payment system with membership levels, this is going to really make my site pretty relevant. I wish I knew of a more accurate date since many things are waiting/hinging on this happening soon.
