IMHO it would be great if the links in the right hand column "Inbox, alerts, friends, and settings" were moved into the Ning Bar. It would free up space in the right hand column. Also, user management in a stationary top bar seems to be the universal standard on the web these days.

We began adding a few things to that Ning Bar with the admin drop-down and the Design Studio, but we haven't added much else yet. It's a great suggestion.

Thanks Eric! Both those additions are definitely steps in the right direction and I do believe if more is added it would greatly benefit sites. Maybe something for 2012.

Good Idea!!

Thanks!

I've suggested this in the past, hopefully its done soon because that square box that cannot be moved tends to annoy me with its ugliness.

yessss

Not only that, but that square account box takes up a lot of space.

Interesting thought!
