I am trying to figure out a way to run the feed of specific blog posts on a page. I basically want it to show up exactly how the "blog feature" shows up on the main page where you can view detailed info and it shows the member profile, likes, etc...
Is there anyway to use the "features" option on pages? Maybe code that can be placed?
I am wanting to take articles of certain members on specific topics and have them all on one page, almost like a blog would work with multiple authors.
I know I can use Yahoo pipes to achieve basically the same thing but I like how it shows up better with the ning feature!
Any ideas or suggestions?

You can create a custom blog page feeding in selected posts that you "Feature". In your main blog view, if you View All under Featured Blog Posts, that page's url can be the link you use for a new tab.
Maybe that helps?

Permalink Reply by Emily Murray on March 8, 2012 at 4:54pm Thanks Anthony, I thought about doing that but then I would only be able to feature the posts of the members who write these specific articles and I wouldnt be able to feature other members non-specific articles or they would show up.
I am going to have a few members write tutorials so I want to feed in all their articles and keep them in one spot w/o having to do it manually, I know I can do this w/featured posts but I still want to allow other members to be featured in the blog section.
I wish we could use the blog module more than once and one of the options was to feed through a specific tag and also grab a code to put it on a page, like a widget. Exactly like Yahoo pipes only it would have the members name and info like their blog posts do.
So see here, I have it set up with Yahoo pipes but I don't like it because it doesn't have member info and it doesn't have view more, I can only do about 7 most recent feeds! So I want it to work this way but w/ more member info like the blog post feed on the main page.
Thanks for your help!

I see you are well familiar with what I was suggesting. I can't address the technical end, but I think you might get the effect if you incorporated the forums module instead. The category for the tutorials, and then a dedicated page, but I understand you have something more specific in mind.
I've been blogging about my research and development for 4 years this month, so I appreciate what you've put together. Great job!!
