Yes, I am aware of Jen's tip to add a text box on members profile pages that only NC's can control. I am wanting to add another text box box for my members to use as they wish. Perhaps for placing their resume. This is not for ads, but will appear on all members profile pages, for them to customize and add to as THEY see fit.
We use the one that is provided specifically for information "About Me" for them to write about just themselves, or a bio if you will. I have named this "ABOUT ME" on all members pages. This encourages them to write something about themselves.
Still NC's need an addition text box besides the original one, or the option to add one.
Thanks for listening and for your help.
On our network all members pages have a text box.
I have a Flickr slideshow on mine.
Strange that yours don't.
An alternative would be to have your members write their About Me in an answer to a profile question (longer answer type) that would free the text box for their more elaborate presentations.
I agree Scott, it would be nice. Oh well. As a possible solution for your site, your members could install the simple text app in the app directory [under misc. category]. It know its a childishly simple text box but if they copy/paste a resume, it may suffice. It may take doing a video in Camtasia to show them how and encourage it but its a possible solution for now. Good luck
