bernard posted a great "crazy look to your ning forum" tip that was great but looked absolutely horrid on my site (due to colors etc) and since it relied on a js file to style it was too tricky to customize so i came up with my own alternate styling
(looks best in firefox)
and the css isnt too dificult to tweak
(i tried getting it to look right in chrome but no go)
table.categories td.bignum {text-shadow:4px 4px 2px #333;
background-color: #666666;border-radius:20px;-moz-border-radius:20px;-ms-border-radius:20px;-o-border-radius:20px;-webkit-border-radius:20px;box-shadow:inset 3px 3px 13px;
-moz-box-shadow:inset 3px 3px 13px;-ms-box-shadow:inset 3px 3px 13px;-o-box-shadow:inset 3px 3px 13px;-webkit-box-shadow:inset 3px 3px 13px;}
table.categories tbody tr, table.categories thead tr th.xg_lightborder {box-shadow: #CCC 3px 3px 3px;border-radius:12px;}
table.categories thead tr th.xg_lightborder {font-size:13px;padding:7px;}

Looking great. I'm using .js file to make sure that other headings and stuffs are not affected by this code.
Best Wishes
Bernard

Permalink Reply by Debby de Wilde on June 14, 2012 at 11:22pm Something different but not completely. There's two places to paste the CC into.
- under the tools tab
- in Design Studio under the advanced tab
Which one is the one you use? I assume it is the one in DS if you use DS and otherwise the one under tools.

it looks like u combined my tip and bernards
the color schemes just clash chrome wont allow the inset box shadow
and mine and bernards tips just clash unless u change some colors
thats why i didnt use his anddid this instead
u think yours looks drunk when i tried his on my site o]it looked like what u might find on the floor after a long night of being very drunk
