Permalink Reply by Eric Suesz on June 30, 2012 at 6:28pm Hey There! We have had reports of 500 errors in the past hour, and we are looking into them. Our on-call team is currently working to resolve this outage. We will be updating the Ning Status Blog (http://status.ning.com) regularly with further information as we continue to work towards resolving the issue.
I will update more here when I have additional info.

Edit: I'm back in business!
Permalink Reply by Design Faerie on June 30, 2012 at 6:47pm we have our network back - thanks (it IS however rather slow) but we do not have our Activity Feed yet (Per your update:We’re no longer seeing the 500 errors and Activity Feed issues reported previously. )

Permalink Reply by Patrick Chappelle on June 30, 2012 at 6:43pm I think I spoke too soon. Half my network is back.
Anyway, I'm gone. Let you guys take care of business.
Ciao!

Permalink Reply by Asil on June 30, 2012 at 7:09pm My entire network is off-line with the "500" errors (NeoVictoria.ning.com) and its been that way for hours, so I can't open a ticket to report the problem.
Also, it took me about ten tries before I was able to log into this portal (creators.ning.com), so this problem really doesn't seem to be fixed at all. [It's 10:10 PM, Eastern-time as I write this.] A bunch of web services (such as Instagram and Netflix) had problems today. Not sure if its related to this NING issue, but those were caused by Amazon Web Services going down; see the Amazon CloudSearch (N. Virginia) notes at http://status.aws.amazon.com/.
