anyone done anything cool with EVENTS

The EVENTS pages are going to become a central a feature of my network but at the moment design wise and functionality wise I feel they are a bit lacking. So I was wondering if anyone has seen any cool EVENTS sections on ning websites or have posted any suggestions, ie layouts or ideas to give me some idea of what the ning platform is capable of and how it works best. Be great if I can see the links.

Nothing cool about the Events feature, John. I've been here several years, and I've yet to see anything that would come close to being "cool" with regards to Events. I'm sure there are tweaks out there (and someone may come along and offer one), but nothing major I'm sure.

LOL i always see patricks replys and thedy all sort of resemble what he just posted, but I overstand dudes been here for years lol im new but found this code exceptional worth while adding to your events and i received the code from the great soaringeagle (he's a beast with CSS lol) but here it is!

place this code in your advanced CSS box in your design studio

It seems an under developed part of the site,  I'm just hunting for ideas, I did come across a map feature on another site that looked quite good.
