Anyone having problems with their network today?

Our main page changes when members sign out, loosing all its Design Studio settings (colours, format, etc.). So non-members visting our network don't see it as it should be. This is also effecting member's profile pages after signing in.

Is this a problem with other networks?

No, not here. Everything looks the same after signing out.

I had a profile comment come through my activity feed just awhile ago that was TWO DAYS OLD! 

I need this stuff to come through in real time.  I monitor the activity feed very closely on my site and head off problems that way.

Is your Design Studio in Developer Mode?

How would it do that as I've not entered Developer Mode.

If you're asking, then I suppose not. Just the same, Developer Mode is used when you want to do extensive customization of your network. If you don't click to get out of Dev Mode when you're done, it causes the same problem as you've described.

I think I have found what the problem was.
It may have been this code which I added yesterday. 

.module_user_thumbnail #xg_aviary_overlay{position: relative;}

It appears OK after removing it.

That might be your culprit, Alexander. I guess I should have mentioned that any customization can potentially cause these kinds of issues (not just dev mode).

I hope this is in fact the problem, and that you are able to resolve it.

No - it's gone weird again... so it must be Ning problem.

*sigh* Unfortunate. Leaky roofs, peeling paint and rusty pipes. Naturally, it's the weekend. I wonder if somebody keeps hitting the wrong switch when they turn out the lights at Ning for the weekend.
