Are there any plans to add a "sort by date" option to forum search results?

It gets to be a bit of a mess, slogging through 800 posts from 2009 in search of anything more recent.

Also, what about a "sort by date" option on general search results? 

Apologies if this has been brought up and addressed recently -- I performed a forum search...lol.

You can add a sign up question for "date", then sort by that date. copy the resulting url and give it a navigation tab...it will update each time you select the navigation tab. I hope this helps. You may be asking about the sign up date...I've done that too but can't remember so will get back to you.

She is asking for a way to search by date for forum posts.  Is that happening? Many times I want to search a post that is from 2012.  Anything created before that is irrelevant in some cases.
