I am not complaining but persephone your site runs to slow since the css you use is animated. I could hardly crawl through and I am AT&T wifi/ethernet customer. My speed is fine. I did not see the badge area at first because PaganUnderworld was just a site I ws trying out because of what I had heard about it. Its reputed to not be a welcoming community so I was trying to see if it was. I am glad you banned me because It gave me the op to make a better community on ning. I am not kissing butt with this response, I am just letting you know you really did not need to come over here and talk about me like I am "sh*t" because you don't know me.

You give yourself off as an elite person when pagans and witches are supposed to be humble folk. Guess you didn't know that we're all supposed to be there, for one another regardless what the urls are. If your site had been more navigationable I wouldn't have mailed through ning on my friends list which is considered the mail/private message feature, that any basic CMS (Content management system) has. Thats what networks are about, networking through the mail feature.

If I collected emails like a network mod or admin can see now that would be spamming, but sending emails too and commenting on site about like sites (that you may be fearful of members leaving your site for) is not spam, its networking.

@Star Dust No sending mail through your friend's list on ning is considered private messaging. Not Spam. That's why ning does not pick it up with a spam filter.

Well, it would be okay to do this, but not over and over. Repeated messages will be spam when the first member start complaining about the invites.

I do not worry too much about spammers and l pass the name and email addy to other creators but you can catch them easy enough.

Even if they change their email address and name, they still spam for the same site over and over.

This is what Devil Woman did to my site. Still it does not matter to me as long as it is no problem with the members. I did not ban anyone until the members started complaining.

OK star dust you have said it now like 4 times, we got it, you said I did this to your site, ok ... now as far as your not concerned about spammers, then why is there 45 replies about spammers ?

For someone not concerned you sure have alot to say, even if some are reruns....

That is why a couple of spy administrators may help out. Most spammers do not hit on Creators or Administrators. So set up some spies to help out.Spammers won't know who they are and start spamming.

That's why I invited her she was my "friend" on my friend's list on ning.

IF it's a problem, then they should report to ning about having member's email everyone on their friends list through a network, however also the member of that network can go into options and or settings and offer to opt out of any personal mail sent through the network. That is NOT SPAM.

Now collections of emails for links and things that is spam. thats not what I did as I was not a mod or admin (and thank goddess) Now you see how they responded to me. Does it seem professional? No. They basically threathened me in some way "My broom is better than YOUR BROOM!" Hurtful magick will not work on me. It's stupid and I am a High Priestess for 17+ years now no child to the occult world. :-D i kinda welcome some kind of perturbed response. lol it's just amusing to me.

I find this all tedious and annoying....

Members will choose where they want to be...

It is a sites right to pick and choose who they want on there site, and what to put up with...

So who gives a damn...

Get over it, if someone spams your site, report it and shut up about it already....

I can speak to the fact ive been a member of Pagan Underworld as well as my own site,

and I enjoy persephone and pagan underworld, nor have I ever spammed it, nor would I ever....

With that said quit crying in your wheaties, and dont you have a site to run ?

Go do it...
