Not sure why, but my network is auto-refreshing roughly every minute. This makes it very difficult to add content only to be wiped away with a unpredictable cache-clear. Adding Events is most problematic. This just started a few days after setting up my network. Maybe I'm missing something in the admin panel, but I did not "willfully" enable this feature. I need to disable it, pronto! Please help!!!

Permalink Reply by John on May 5, 2011 at 11:06am Auto refresh (every 60 seconds) is back on my network.
I'm only a hobbyist so it's no big deal but I feel sorry for folks trying to make a living with Ning.
In a word... bogus.
Permalink Reply by Rev. O.M. Bastet on May 5, 2011 at 11:32am I just spent several minutes on my network, via Chrome, and it isn't happening. Didn't happen back when, either.
Fingers crossed.
I HAVE done cache clearing recently....
and my URL is NOT displaying as non-secure site. (It consistently does starting awhile back on my other network, for unknown reasons, but haven't seen any auto-refresh problem there....)

Permalink Reply by John on May 7, 2011 at 9:04am It seems that while I have Ning Chat on my network the refreshing occurs.
When I don't it doesn't. Can anyone support this suspicion?

Permalink Reply by Eric Suesz on January 9, 2013 at 8:52am Hey, Melinda. I've heard this type of report before, and I think that in each case it ends up being the browser. Have you tried a different browser to see if it's still occurring? And of course restarting your browser?
Permalink Reply by Melinda Orr on January 16, 2013 at 10:20am Thanks I did try Foxfire and Chrome both with the same results...I cleared my cache and a restart and the issues have been resolved. Thanks!
