AUTO REFRESH Has introduced itself to my network suddenly...

Not sure why, but my network is auto-refreshing roughly every minute.  This makes it very difficult to add content only to be wiped away with a unpredictable cache-clear.  Adding Events is most problematic.  This just started a few days after setting up my network.  Maybe I'm missing something in the admin panel, but I did not "willfully" enable this feature.  I need to disable it, pronto!  Please help!!!

Huh. I haven't heard a report like this. Wait, I seem to remember something similar. Question: Are you using Chrome by any chance?
yes, the repeated refreshing was happening to myself and a few others, if im not mistaken, we were all on Chrome. I closed and re opened Chrome and it stopped.
Not on Chrome, I'm using Firefox 3.6.14 on OSX

Doh! I will try to reproduce this. What I would start with is clearing out your cache and restart the browser as David suggests. Maybe it could be some sort of browser-related security issue that makes your browser want to refresh because it doesn't trust the page (even though it should). Those are just my knee-jerk ideas to start with.

Did you submit a ticket about this by any chance? You might need a specialist from our team.

Yeah I've done all that a couple of times, shut down and everything.  Doesn't appear to be an issue in Safari, so it is definitely a browser issue.

I have submitted a ticket, but it said 24 hours...  Figured I would reach for resolve here.  =)

Well, my hope is that maybe it's only happening to you with that browser. I haven't been able to reproduce it using the same browser/computer.
I had this issue also and it started when I had twitter open and my network. I was attempting to set up the twitter sign-in capability and that's when I first noticed the auto refresh happening. Also, I'm on IE 8 and the problem is there as well as Chrome.
I'm on Chrome and haven't seen this issue. Fingers crossed!!

This issue is driving me insane!

I have a quite basic network but very busy and I can't manage my Admin tasks with the constant refresh of pages every minute.  My network has no HTML or Java customizations and is not open to other networks such as Twitter. The issue just started on its own two weeks ago and continuously refreshes all pages.  I'm running on Mac and Safari with the latest build.

All ideas are appreciated,  Kirk

Kirk, I actually switched to Safari from Firefox to alleviate the problem.  That's enlightening.  *sigh*  I waited over four days for a two sentence answer from Support only to have them tell me that the problem is not on their end.  It's obviously a bigger issue than originally thought, if a growing list of browsers are affected. I'm still in my trial period, and I have a growing network.  Not happy about the passing of the buck support.  I really hate being in the position of having to choose to look like a complete buffoon and kill my network before paying for the first month, or continuing to let it operate in an inoperable state for users who are dealing with the problem.  Frustrating...
try this, completely remove firefox from your pc, and reinstall it. I did that with Chrome and it hasn't happened at all since i did this about 2 weeks ago.

Well, this has now resolved itself.  As suddenly as it started two weeks ago, it has now stopped on its own.  Clearly Support are out of step with reality on this problem, pushing the cause back on "browser issues."  That is clearly not the issue.

However, I can't complain at the moment because all is well again.
