Hi all.

Is it possible to do an automated welcome message for new members?
We've done it manually before, but since the member is continuosly growing, now it's impossible to do it manually.

I think if our network can do it automatically, it would be really help for us and for new member, in the message we can tell about: welcoming, how to use the network, good links, FAQ etc.

Thanks before

Do you want this welcome message to be sent in an email or on the message board in their profile?
In the massage board, but it's ok if we can do an automated welcome massage sent to member's email

thanks
There is a css code that puts an automated welcome message in the header of the message board
This message will automatically disappear as soon as the new member receives a message from another member
I do not feel free to share this code with you as it is not mine but you can find it in the network of Theme Worx

To send it by email you have to go into the language editor and adjust it there.
However my experience is that no matter what I change it still remains the same
Ok, thanks for your help, i'll try it.

Thanks

*Writer Chick jumping up and down raising her hand excitedly!*

I want a welcome MASSAGE!!

LOL Sorry, I couldn't resist. You have an amusing misspelling in your title.

A massage is when you lay on a table and someone with magic fingers kneads your muscles and makes them feel like spaghetti when they're done. Ning has NEVER made me feel quite that good! LOL

Thanks for giving me a laugh, even though you didn't intend to. (and I meant no offense to you, ddcrow)
hahaha

I'm sorry about the misspell
I'm from Indonesia and english is not my native language
Yes, if you're site is offering welcome massages, I am signing up!!! ;-)
