Better way to add friends...

Just a wish to NIng..A member of mine said its hard and annoying to add friends as you have to click on there profile or actually know the persons name to find them, he asked why cant you add a "add friends" button in the memebers section pretty much all networks have, this would be super usefull and people would add friends easier! I asked a NIng pro about this and he said he couldnt do it so im just posting to ask ning to maybe look to add in future.

you can search certain names  and  add them without  goin to the pages but  yeah  I  wish it was easiler  too and they  offered a filter to  just see online  people only I  know you can see  onine  people but I  mean  seeing a  filter where we can see  only  online people

Now were talking.
I've wished for a long time that Ning would give us the option to know who is on-line without scrolling through the complete members list.
That should not be a problem for Ning to set up.

Another point I've found is finding members from a specific area.
Easy, I just type in a State or Country I wish to find members in on my membership page. Works every time.

+1 I concur! I just asked about this with a new trick SP introduced today to show "You may be interested in.." for his blogs...I said it would be could to have a "you may be interested in.." for the friends
