Is there a bug in the comment wall? Or has Ning set the size of the comment wall as a fixed size?
The size of the area in which members leave a message is now set to a very small area instead of sized according to the CSS of our custom themes.

We don't make our own themes with CSS to have them overruled by Ning settings. It ruins the look of the theme and is indeed very irritating to have such a small area and a scrollbar instead. Specially when you wish to read back what you have written before sending your message. Before one could see it in a glance, now you have to scroll endlessly when it's a long message.
Permalink Reply by Jayne on December 9, 2010 at 3:51am It's even worse Celina, I've added a theme here at creators on my page, and anything I've done in the chattewall is gone, all we get now is an ugly white teeny box, grrr, I am so angry at Ning for this... if you look at my page you'll see (not sure why my AV isnt' showing here either)
Permalink Reply by celina[D] on December 9, 2010 at 3:53am My admin has a custom theme and his comment wall shows up white as well. This wouldn't be so bad if the text wasn't set to white as well. So now other members can no longer see what they are typing. I haven't checked all the 50+ themes I've made yet but no doubt many more have this problem
Permalink Reply by Jayne on December 9, 2010 at 3:58am My text is showing black, but this white box really interferes with the look of my themes, we'll only see on this creators site till they release the rich text to all our sites...
Permalink Reply by celina[D] on December 9, 2010 at 4:04am It takes on the main background color one has set in the CSS which can clash with the rest of the theme big time and make text invisible whilst writing it when background and text color are (almost) the same. At this moment the option of en- ro disableing richt text editor is gone as well.
