Has Ning discussed this at the round table? I wonder if it has come up before and if Ning plans to work on this in the future.
Are there any Ning extensions coming up that could be a store front?

Permalink Reply by Speed Racer on July 13, 2011 at 5:18am another +1, you're right. I'd prefer it were free, though. There are some options out there......im going to look more into Ecwid like Lisa suggested, if i can make a little money from my members having shops, that'd be awesome!

Permalink Reply by Lisa B on July 12, 2011 at 9:24am Ive been using Ecwid on my network..
I now have a market place on my network too where members pay a monthly fee to have a shop with a cart.
Its very new and I have 7 shops already and few I still need to add :)

So while we wait for NING to do this (if they're ever going to) head over to Ecwid..its free and its user friendly :)
Hi JP,
We have heard this request before, though it is not on our roadmap as of now. I'll be interested to hear more from others who are interested in this type of feature, what alternatives are being used and what functionality you all are looking for.

A simple Ning extension of Oodle will provide commerce on the site and also provides pages views from the millions of listing.

Permalink Reply by Sam Alexander on May 7, 2012 at 10:20am I have figured out hot to integrate Ecwid into my network but cannot put code on member page. I have tried to put code in text box but this does not work. Any suggestions on how to add to members page.
