We really want to customize our status default message from '' Whats on your mind'' to something else. How can we go about this?

Permalink Reply by Armani Rouse on July 19, 2012 at 11:29am go to your language editor in your dashboard, when you get there click on whatever language your network is programmed in and once you do that it gives you 2 sides to view, what the current language is programmed on your site and the other side is a search bar where you can search for "whats on your mind" its going to pull up some results for you, simply look for the one that says exactly what your looking to change like "whats on your mind" and then enter the text to whatever youd like it say, my site is called wellkunnected.com so I changed mine to "Kunnect your status" hope this helps, if you need further assistance I can definitely show you ;)
Permalink Reply by Ed on July 20, 2012 at 5:31am Hi Aanu and Armani, the text for the Activity Feed status box isn't in the Language Editor. You'll find it here:
Dashboard > Members > Controls
Where there's a check box to "allow members to post status updates" the text field you're looking for is just below.
Cheers
Ed
