Can I hire someone to make me a custom and exclusive app and how would I add it to the site if i can ?

BTW, what's the reason for not so much apps in app directory ? There are tons og Ning network and Ning members out there, is it really possible that app developers are not interested in making apps for Ning ?

  • Hi Almir,

Yes you can definitely do that. You probably want to inquire about it on the developer network.
    • Thanks, nice to see that you're promoting app development with new challenge. It's really shame that there are no more apps available.
  • Almir, I have asked that question to the Help Center and they never answer. If you get an answer from the developer network, can you please post their answer back here? Thanks.
    • Just a question - I am unable to find a link to how one can create their own apps to place on their ning page. I am only given an option to choose from already existing apps. Is it possible for me to create my own app and use that on my ning page? Can anyone point me to the relevant page?
  • Hi Almir,

Did you hire someone? Could you tell your experience?

I want a custom and exclusive app too!

    Thanks
    • No, I haven't... I posted an ad on Developers but had only one answer where guy asked me to contact him bla bla... he's doing that on every single opened thread just like he's buyer not seller, I guess I should buy him a coffee too..

But I'm waiting API to roll over completely, I definitely need 2 custom apps for my site
      • Hi Almir,

Do you have an idea when the API will be available?

I myself am looking for a Custom and Exclusive app.
        • Masad, I guess even Evan doesn't have idea about that :)
          • Almir, please forgive, but who is Evan?
      • Oooh! so, not good news, but thanks for your answer!

If I have news abaut this issue, i will post here.
