We're trying to change the width of the modules on the right side of column 2 (#xg_layout_column_2), but the problem is, #xg_layout_column_1 and #xg_layout_column_2 are wrapped inside another div called #xg_canvas. For whatever reason, the width of xg_canvas cannot be changed. According to this forum post http://creators.ning.com/forum/topics/ning-should-not-use-important... and hours of trial and error, it seems that in Ning's CSS code, xg_canvas has a width that is set to 653 px !important.
Because !important is coded into it, and we don't have access to these files to change it, #xg_canvas cannot be widened. Please, remove the !important code from the #xg_canvas width. This is a simple change that ALL Ning Creators can benefit from.
