Can't Clear Cache

I have be trying to clear my networks cache and when I add the

(lib/scripts/invalidateCache.php) to the end of my network URL it just loads and loads.  

When I have a new member to approve the notification stays in the right hand column until I clear the cache. I assume it was a glitch or hiccup so I never reported it because I could clear the cache and remove the notification. I can't do that today. I circled the notification in the screen shot below

We've removed the ability for some scripts to be run, including this one. We sometimes need to tighten up the ability to run some scripts for security reasons.

I need to edit the welcome text on our sign-in page and did so with the Language editor, but I can't see the new text.  I've emptied my browser cache, is there anything I can do about a Ning cache?

Hi Neil,

You shouldn't need to clear a cache in order to see language changes. Is it possible that you edited a different piece of language than the one you expected?

Thanks, Phil.  You're correct.  I edited the text on "Apply for membership now. If you're already a member, <a %s>sign in</a>." and thought that was all I needed.

Then (after adding my comment in this thread), I realized I needed to edit "New? <a %s>Click here to join</a>" and also "New? <a %1$s>Click here to join</a>"
