Can You Stop Members Removing your logo if you allow members to design their own pages ?
I would like to give the members the chance to design their own page colour schemes, I will turn off theme changes though, but I have taken a look on a test account and they are able to remove your logo and header image. Is there a way to stop this but still allow them to change colours etc ?
Yeah.
You can do this by using this in your custom code bow
<style>
#xg_sitename{ display:block!important; }
</style>
This will overwrite their profile css code if they decided to hide your logo.
You can do this with other elements.

Permalink Reply by Writer Chick {Diane} on February 16, 2013 at 11:40am I have switched to Design Studio and have discovered that even though members are given the option to remove the site's header and logo, it doesn't actually work. LOL They can upload their own header, but the site's header is on top of it.
Our members have to add a piece of advanced code to GET RID of our header!! It's a major PIA for sites who don't mind the site header being replaced.
This part of DS does not work as it is logically expected to.
Permalink Reply by John Bizley on February 16, 2013 at 11:58am I agree, I have put of letting members designing there own colours etc on their pages but thought it might give a little more for them. I thought it would only give the chance to change colours fonts etc but not have the logo and header bit there.
