<script type="text/javascript">
if (typeof(x$) != 'undefined' && document.location.href.indexOf('/profile/') > -1) {
var bp = x$("div.xg_module_body ul.nobullets li")[0];
bp.style.display = 'none';
}

This is something I want to do also.
Thanks for your help - even if just to let me know the answer is no and i can stop looking!

Good to know either way, shame they haven't tackled this though.
Permalink Reply by The PL Team (d&e) on July 1, 2010 at 2:49pm It's May 2011 -little over a year since this thread was started- and this glitch still hasn't been solved! Any ideas when you guys are going to get to this?
Phil, your custom code only removes the navigation link in the left column of a member's My Page. It doesn't remove the 'My Blog' box with the 'Add a Blog Post' in the center column of a member's page.
As far as I can tell this box doesn't show up on the NC/admin's My Page, only on a member's My Page. And if I visit the member's My Page as NC/admin I don't see the My Blog box, only the member himself sees it!

Some users get confused and think they're posting to the discussion forum, but they're only posting on their blog.
Permalink Reply by Corey on February 5, 2013 at 4:39pm Ditto, have had this problem for years now. Why the blog feature would be integrated into a user's profile is beyond me. But this really should be a feature a creator can chose to enable and disable on their network. It is a common problem that people confuse the blog with the forums and then they wonder why no one is responding to their posts. We should have the choice on how we wish communication to be handled on our networks. This has "been on the list" for three years now. I think it should have risen to the top by this time.
