Has anyone successfully used this featured. It seems really slow and it show members online that left the network a long time before.

i use the chat feature all the time no issues.the online thing is probably a ning being slow..but there are bigger issues in the world...the slowness might be on your end......ning can only do so much,it cant control the speed of your computer or isp provider.

Ning has a lag (a lot of sites other than ning seem to have this issue sometimes)...and I did read somewhere recently that a person is signed in for a certain amount of hours even though they have signed off.
