<script type="text/javascript" src="snowstorm.js"></script>

1. CLICK HERE to get the snow file URL.
2. Copy the URL and replace it with "snowstorm.js".

3. Go to Custom Code (where you put the Analytics code) and paste it and save it.

Then you ready to go :D

YAY! Thank you :)

You welcome!

Matt,

I tried this on my network last year and it made the web page "flicker".  As I recall it may have been browser-specific, but it definitely flickered with Firefox.

we had some reports of jumping? was there a was to fix it?

Yeah, the screen seemed to jump or jitter.  No, I could not resolve it (not being a programmer).  I had to delete the code. ;(

i saw some coding for browser support ... i wonder if that would fix it.  some of our member got the jumping to stop if they expanded chat.

If you figure it out, I'd appreciate hearing.

Hi Mat,

I am trying to add the snowstorm.js to my live network.  I added it to the test network and it looks great.  However, there is not custom code option on the live network settings.  I don't want to change every setting by clicking "go live" from the test site.  It there any way to make the snowstorm.js appear in the live network without changing everything. The test network's main page doesn't look like our live site. I've tried several changes an css code to make it live on the site but nothing has worked.  Everything I've read said then javascript needs to be embedded into the HTML which is not accessible. Please help. I really love the snowstorm effect and would like it on the live site.

How come you don't have custom box on your live network? which plan are you into? you can drag a text box on the right side of your network and place the code there.

Im not sure why there is no custom box on the live network. (its on the test network)

I tried the text box... it worked for the sites main page. I hide it within a textbox already on the page.  Thank you!

The only difference I am noticing is the snow it running slower. :D but its snowing!

You welcome!

It will show up on every pages If you drag the text box to the right column, you need to contact Ning about your custom box Maria!

Thanks you! It looks perfect! LET it SNOW Let it snow! Let it Snow!  :D
