I hope CC will have an annual plan.

That would be cool! I wonder if they have different rates for non-profits and what their enterprise tiers are for larger scale networks.

We've just signed up for comet chat but noticed this post that says Games may show ads depending on the provider.


Is there any way of controlling those ads to make sure we don't get ads appearing that are unsuitable for our users? Or, alternatively, is there a way to filter out those games providers that display ads? If not, is that a feature that comet chat could develop?

 This will help Ning Creators who have private sites. Thanks.

Worth every cent. Customer support is second to none, I was unsure at first because of the amount of users who chat. But I've only had a positive response. Mobile chat upgrade is too expensive.

No offense but where are you getting the customer support from I only have an email and still have not heard back? Not being sarcastic just really frustrated thanks and your help would be greatly appreciated

Your post has got us thinking twice, which is a real shame because like you say it looks pretty good. We've just signed up but at the moment we can't even get comet chat to work! Instead it just keeps loading and reloading the page. We're waiting for a support response which means that we'll likely lose at least a day of the "free" trial just trying to get it to work! For us the video chat and the ability to create multiple chatrooms are really important. So we'll see how that looks. Once we get it to work!!

Thank you for your comments. We have already addressed your points via email and have added most of your requests to the next release. I appreciate your detailed feedback.

Moderation, pop-out, avatars, fonts and colors theming are all in the pipeline and will be available next week.

Regarding the product, CometChat is a 4 year old product and among the leading chat solution in the market. We have only added support for Ning networks recently. The product is still in beta and is constantly being updated. We are receiving hundreds of feature requests every day and the engineering team is working hard at implementing them all.

Our plans starts at only $9/mo. We will be offering lower annual plans in the future. I understand if this may not be the best price point for your network, but considering various factors, this is the best pricing we can offer at the moment.
