I am a new community that has grown relatively rapidly because of the niche of buying, selling, trading old amateur wrestling shoes and apparel. All of the kids currently use Flickr for this (which is not the best avenue but has some features that the kids have a hard time letting go of).
It is very important to my community that they get alerts or notifications when someone comments or likes a photo that they have previously commented on. For example, on Facebook, if I comment on a status and you comment after me, I get an alert.
Another example would be on Flickr on their More Recent Activity. There the kids see all of the photos they've commented on and other members comments all in a row. It's important to them for what they do.
Currently, they see their recent activity, but cannot see when someone else has commented on a photo they previously commented on. Is there a way to do this? If not, do you believe there's a way that a developer can write custom code to do so? Thank you.
