Comments and PM's ~ Unresponsive

In the past slow and unresponsve posting was the EXCEPTION - now it appears to be the RULE.

When posting a comment to a Discussion - the generator spins round and round and round....for EVER---some  times it NEVER shows a post - but upon leaving and returning  - the comment has in fact posted. The same occurs when sending a PM.

This is getting real frustrating.

I still have the same problem. My network cannot work since 24 hours ago. People are asking me and I have no answer to tell.

Please, could someone inform about this problem? I run a quiz and people cannot participate. I guess some other networks are affected as well.

Same, our pageviews are now half of the usual numbers. We believe it's this issue and the error page at random.

Yes, I believe this is true, too.

 

Example: if members are experiencing what I am personally, and I believe they are - - when members are not receiving all the Ning email notifications, naturally this will effect the site visits tremendously. With no message center emails and no follow emails, the traffic is going to be down for every site with these issues.

 

If Ning Support catches this: I can't imagine why or the difference, but somehow I received a "share discussion" email notification earlier today. However, aside from that, for almost 2 days I have not received any other email notifications. And there have been many I should have gotten like: new members, followed discussions, ning mail, etc...

 

Wow, hard to document - - I just found several Ning message center emails in my spam box. They are just from yesterday.

 

Back to a project, hope that helps a little...

The problems have not cleared up. I can not feature or unfeature. I can't send a private message. Who knows what else I can't do.

Can you submit a ticket so that we can look very closely at what you can and can't do, Barbara? Do you use a Wibya toolbar by any chance?

Also, I've already submitted three tickets and have had no response.

No, but I have heard a few similar reports which is why I ask. If you do submit a ticket, you might want to mention that but also mention that you've used it for a long time without issue.

I am posting this publicly so others who have Wibiya installed can read it too. Just in case:

Make sure your Wibiya account has 2 settings checked.

• Sign in to Wibiya
• Click on Edit Toolbar
• Click on Troubleshooting Button
• Check boxes for:
• "Activate Toolbar After Page Load" AND "JavaScript / Framework Conflict".
