comscore scripts (part of glam) slowing site

anyone else having alot of intermittent trouble with scripts that are part of comscore (beacon.js) causing slooooooowwwww page loads randomly and i mean very very slow
not every page load but it does cause alot of issues
and general slowness too

Yes, I have this too. You can find them also in pagespeed (Google). I wish we could remove that stuff.

Sometimes this add a 1-2 sec extra load, not always. Strange thing is that it's not consistent.

sometimes adds way more then that ive had it add 23 seconds or more at times

That's crazy. I have peeks around 10-15 seconds randomly. But I can't replicate that.

Yea, it's really one of the only things I see loading on the site, everything else is quick loading, cept chat. This needs to be fixed.

and api.ning slowness too

but the comscore thing is the slowest generaly

yea i thought it was fixed when i had 3 3-4 sec loads in a row so i went to testr it and..78 sec 1st load still waiting on second

nope read api.ning

wondering if api.ning contains the elusive menning of life  (hence why it takes so long to read)

grows old

becomes senile

forgets what i was doing

waits for the world to end

remembers

wonders how 1 page load can take 3 seconds the next 5 minutes

gives up and restarts test

waits 4 min and it never finnishes
