configuring apache web server (virtual dedicated)

hi guys i know its not the typical ning related question but i also know alot of you are pretty damn smart and know what your talking about

although its not directly ning related my ning site uses a subdomain system to extend the site with shops a dating site etc

the shops wre moved to a virtual dedicated server a couple months ago and its been a headache ever since constant crashes  etc

after a good bit of trying  i increased max clients server limit etc enabled keepalive  trying to tune it to run better

but now it gets too many sql connections and dies

ill tell ya i knew nothing at all about this when i started and im figuring it out as i go ..sorta but still having serius trouble

it uses plesk parelelis xontrol panel

has 2 gig ram

theres 3 webspaces with 3 ips and  i believe 6 domains

none are really all that high trafic either

i just need help configuring the damn thing so it stays up and running

anyone any good at this?

I know that it won't take you long to Figure out whats causing the problem.

I'm sorry i can't offer any idea's SE it's above what i do ..... I have not worked

with my own servers although i did give it a go once ...what a headache i had..
