I just installed Cooliris on my ning. It's a real cool looking 3D gallery that will spice up your network.

Only thing you need to do is to create a gallery in flickr or Picasa. Load that in the Cooliris website and add the javascript to a text field on your network.

This is how it looks like on my network:

As you can see people can add your gallery to facebook and twitter also or expand it to their big screen if they want.

See it in action: http://inventorwizard.ning.com/
or check out ther website and create your own...it's free and I love it: http://www.cooliris.com/yoursite/express/

Before I forget, youtube or facebook stuff can also be added in it. I'm sure you'll find it easy to configer it.
Maybe on remark for Picasa is that your gallery name may  NOT include spaces in the name of the gallery. For instance: inventorwizard is allowed but not inventor wizard. Cooliris will not be able to find your gallery if you don't take this into account!

Enjoy!

Great tip, thanks:) I've got some ideas for this that I'll share after the May 4th announcement:)
I'll be looking forward to that, well your idea that is :)
This is what we need on the Ning platform - it could be done using CSS3 but it's not supported by Internet Explorer yet. Rumors say it is coming very soon since IE is loosing marketshare.
How about this one....

It spins....
You can make flat wall, curve wall, cube and 15 different looks
It would be nice to have one that works and/or a link to the place to find it:)
Hey Janettee, long time no see..
I'm not a programmer and I don't know CSS or coding, so I always look for "TV Dinner".
There are 2 software products.
Unfortunately, one has to buy them... They are

You can download trial versions and give a try.
The above example came from photo-flasher-maker.
BTW, your new picture looks nice.
Thank you Señorita Ayla!
I'm still around:) Oh. Darn, I'm a freebie person:( I'll have to look again:) Thanks for the information though:) And thanks for the compliment:) We went to have professional photographs taken:)
OMG you are so awesome:) I'm going to try some of that out and if we're still here after the 4th I'll have some examples up:)
I'm trying to figure out what exactly this is, and if there would be any use for it on my site. I run a fan fiction site.
