This script no longer works , will work on a newer version soon

Hi , i've built a free service called Drop Down Latest Activity Code Generator [CLICK HERE]

This post is inspired by Jen's RSS FEED NEWS TICKER IN NINGBAR.

UPDATE2: URL without www. allowed. Fixed some tiny bugs.

UPDATE1: Now , this drop down panel supports Ning bar which is in FIXED POSITION. Please re-generate code if you are using the old version.

where you can easily generate code to create something like this (without any coding!)

Please try it out , if there any questions , please ask here or give your feedback here.

Thanks and enjoy!

I get this error:

Error! Invalid URL provided. Make sure it contains"http://www."

My url does not contain www.

I also can not check the fixed check box.  Nothing happens when I click it, I am using Chrome.

if your URL is http://mynetwork.com

Just add a http://www.mynetwork.com

You need to click the CHECK BOX to CHECK it , not the text.

Great idea , i've not thought of that .

Okay here's what you meant:

User will be able to see their own latest activity box in the drop down.(not the site latest activity).  which uses user's profile's latest activity FEED.

it's relatively simple to do that. i will work on it and include it in the generator.

Great idea Jade. And for Elson, can you detect user? How about let this be an option. Choose you want to show last activities for whole site or member when generating the code. Because members of my site are not so active :( There is no use for show last activities of one member.

Not one member but the activity of that user .
I can detect the users .

when are you planning on releasing this please?

I'm really anticipating it! Thanks!

can't figure out how to get the link decoration input to work...

Link Decoration enter "none" or "underline" just fine.

Yep i will change it to a drop down as many people are confused by it lol.

I think radio button also be fine. :)

Great tip, please do you mind sharing how you changed your scroll-bar color and style.

Changing scrollbars style is not recommended in CSS as you can only change windows side and you have to consider different types of browsers too.

However i will add more options for styling the panel.
