Critique my Network Music SIte

We have just launched our beta site and I am looking for any ideas, critique or just a comment on the concept for the site. We are trying to bring together musicians from the social community to create some unique music. Please be honest and thank you in advance for taking the time to look at the site.

Is there a specific style of music your network is about? It isn't clear.

Thank you so much for your comment. At this point we are no specific to any genre. We are hoping that as people join and get involved with the challenges and events the genre will be decided by the community. It may be a good idea to add something on the site to track which music genre is "Most Popular" with our members?

I like the idea, although your site's wording is a bit confusing.

I would change the colors of the site to better reflect the header's colors. I would use turquoise for all of the text... And don't forget the sub-tabs too! I would use black background and turquoise for that, as well.

It would seem you have a lot of members and content, congrats!
