Critique My Network - POZIAM

I launched POZIAM - a social network for people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS 2 years ago and it has always been a work in progress. I just recently made some drastic changes and wanted to get some feedback from other like minded, creative , Network creators. POZIAM and I was just recently featured on Logo.

Our goal is to bring people infected or affected by HIV/AIDS to a safe place to ask questions, share experiences and discover similarities.

Don't forget World AIDS day is December 1st ...

Robert,
I just watched the home page video, HIV+ME. I hope Gina, Marc and the entire Ning Team, watch this video. This is a remarkable example of what the Ning platform can help make possible. I am so impressed with your entire interview/video. Your ease of answering all of the questions, with genuine responsiveness, is beyond awesome.

Keep up the good work. I am certain that your Ning Community has helped many HIV positive individuals deal with their fear and "what to do now?". And, I am equally sure, your Community will help many people, in the years to come. Kudos to you, friend. This is one of the best "uses" of the Ning platform, I've seen to date.

Thanks Jen ... I love watching it grow and seeing my members evolve from a picture of trees or flowers to their own face. They find a sense of belonging and feel apart of something. After a HIV+ diagnosis our journey becomes a bit foggy and POZIAM lets them reinvent and rediscover themselves as proud people living with HIV/AIDS.. Thanks again for your comment your a sweet heart

I am sure I will be 'off the wall' with my comment, since it has nothing to do with critiquing your site. I applaud what you are doing with your site! As a counselor and Life Coach, I talk with so many people with HIV/Aids. Having a supportive group helps to deal with the issues at hand. It is nice to know you have created an outlet for so many HIV/Aids victims. Keep up the good work! I understand why you would want to critique your site, but please remember, it isn't about 'our' opinion but what you want to present. I wish you GREAT success!!

Hi Robert,

I really liked your site. Very clean. Colors are excellent. Also liked positioning of content.

Was wondering how you set up (1) the socialweb bar with translator at bottom of screen and (2) the partially flipped announcement tab to the far upper corner of screen.

The site looks good, I like the color theme. My eyes are not that good and I have to put my face on the computer screen to see the title of the menu bar...it seems the red blending in the black background. I think if you make it bold, it will be a little bit better to read.

My mother visit 10 or more blogs and website each day and she not a member of any of them but she reads them everyday...

I would rather have 100,000 reader per month than than a 100,000 member who dont really do nothing...I see many Ning network with 20,000 members but seems to have less than 20 sign in at a time...

I say open up your site for everyone to read unless you want to keep your info private...
