My site has been running for 8 months now and has had small make overs here and there. Please take a look and share your comments on how it looks and what you think could be improved on. Ive just added a new advertising feature which I would also be interested to see how that looks. It has various options to choose from.

The site has been made public so you can have a good look around.

Thanks and look forward to your response.

Hi John,

The banner flag background looks great. I think the first thing I noticed is the logo text image. Definitely needs some improvement. Also the navigation tabs..

cheers.

Thanks Ron, are you referring to the advertise text logo ? I put that there yesterday and if it is that you refer to I think you are right on a second look and have replaced it with just text for now. Your input helpeds as sometimes you can get to close to your own project to see it from anothers view so thankyou for the reply.

sounds great John. The default ad banner looks ok now. I'm also referring to your network/site header logo. You could somehow use Denis's tip in improving or making your own logo online here.

Good day

I'm with Ron, the navigation area is huge . I think you have to decrease the lines of navigation. The navigation in one line would be nice. And also I suggest you to give same alignment for each banner advertise.

Hi Bernard, thanks for the reply. Yep I do agree about the navigation bar so will get onto that one. Good spot on the banner aligment and will rectify that also. Really appreciate the help on reviewing the site, thanks very much.

Hi Bernard, ive updated my site's navigation menu so would be interested to see how it looks to you.

I really like the banner. I don't know if its British or American but its pretty good. Your advertising space is not bad, I need to think something like that as well. You could consider adding adsense.

I would recommend getting rid of the "shadow people" in your member module.  Feature your most active members who have also bothered to load a profile pic.  The default pic on any network is ugly and why put members on your main page who can't seem to find the time (or don't have the know-how) to upload a pic?

Everything else looks great!  I disagree with everyone else about your navigation menu. That was the first thing I noticed and I went..."wow, how'd he do that??"  LOL

Thanks Diane, good point about the 'shadow people'. I have entertainers that are our featured members at present but now we have the new categories and I have labelled them I can now do as you say and get members featured there. I know what you mean about the default pic, im going to change that and add a page with others that members can choose from themed on the site. Some people don't like having their own photo on display for privacy concerns.

My menu used to be a bit tidier but I opened it all up while adding new features before I collapsed it all down again, just find it easier to see all my tabs to decide where each should go. I do have a few more to add so will have to make it a bit smaller at some point.

Once again thanks for taking the time to have a look Diane.

Consider adding an "About Page" or some information about the site. I get lots of views on mine. Visitors often want to see what the site is all about. Something like this

Updated my site's navigation menu so would be interested to see how it looks to you.
