Is the Moderation page for moderating the members or for the member moderators?

Is the Management page for managing the members or for the member managers?

i think he was referring to the creators dashboard, which a regular member isnt going to see, marshall! that said, your statement even also helps get his point across LOL

 I agree - I've been an admin for about 1 1/2 years and I still get mixed up between moderation and management - what I want is one list of members and then have the option to do these things with that list.

1. Delete or Suspend members, or delete content

2. Feature or un-feature members

3. Change their roles.

Add the ability to "friend" members to that list.

friend people to the creators member list? why? no one should have access to the Creator's Dashboard except the creator, and an admin if the creator chooses to give access to it. Keep in mind, your members can be deleted from that page, and their contact emails are shown in it, this area should be EXTREMELY secure for member protection, and the protection of the network itself.

No.....in the member management area, have a place where the NC can go thru and friend members easily without having to visit each individual page.  And get rid of the stupid 100 friend request limit for NC's already.....

why not simply combine them  dashboarbd members total control

then in the drop down have everything

suspend promote to admin

delete

etc etc even add send message

reset photo

etc

everything u will ever want to do with...or to..your members

Deb,  I too have the same heart wish for one list of members and then have the option to do these things with that list.......

That's the first reason I fall in love with Ning. ( I'm shy...)

I don't want to be the geek creator. My friend, he is a excellent graphic designer and had participated Ning theme design contest, said that the management of Ning is so complicated. 

 

And could we have a real pageviews and visits including non-member ?

How about learn something from Apple. The iOS UI seems everyone like that.

And I just come up another one. How about let them arrange their dashboards.

Like I  arrange my apps in iPhone.
