Is there any way (or plans in the near future) for us to be able to delete members who are inactive or who have left our networks.

Permalink Reply by Jens on December 11, 2010 at 8:01am I agree with this one. We also have some members who accidentally created two accounts. Because we are a business network one of those accounts is often an email address from their former company they can not access anymore. This means that there is no way to send the login info to that member giving them the ability to delete the account themselves. We should be able to delete these accounts.

A sure way for chasing them away forever and never to return and sign up again in the future. Also the issue of double accounts or email addresses that cannot be accessed as mentioned before are solved by the option to delete members
IP addresses would be great as well. Yesterday I had a member return who himself deleted is account. We don't like his behaviour toward the women in our network so this time access was denied. Now it's very easy for him to sign up with another email address and a fake picture. I have no way of recognising him by his IP address

If you remove a member, he thinks that there's an error on his password.

When you are suspending your member just be sure to check the option to delete their contents as well and that will do it. What we need from NING is the option for Network Creators to find out the last time they log in to our networks and that way we have an idea who we need to suspend/delete for inactivity. Thank you!
Permalink Reply by M n M on December 5, 2010 at 12:13pm I DO NOT want to suspend any members
I want to DELETE not SUSPEND inactive members or members who have somehow managed to get 2 accounts
These are GOOD people who do not deserve supension
We need the ability to just remove people without suspending them
