Design question Getting rid of boxes on home page

Hi,

Does anyone know how to change the blue boxes on the home page of my site http://projecteve.com so that instead of a box i can just make it a dotted underline or event just an underline? It is driving me crazy!

I want the underline to look like the underlines on this page http://www.mybestbirth.com/

go it to work when I'm signed in but when i log out still i see the boxes. so weird.
