Desktop app

Is ning planning on building a desktop app, like many other sites already have? While we are away from the site we still get notifications and can post a status, add or accept friends, join or accept group invites, etc. If you think ning should, then 1+. Thnx everyone.

I don't think we have any plans for that. Can you share some of the examples that many other sites already have? It might be easier to raise support for it with some great examples of companies like ours that have created their own desktop apps that are specifically devoted to their platform. Thanks!

Any suggestions on a good free screenshot program? I have a private network with this feature, so if you want a personal experience of what I mean, then message me. I will invite you to it. You'll also be able to see the realtime/pop-out discussions and #hashtag topics.
