I was thinking.
I think it would be kind of cool if Ning could develop a system that when you get a message(e-post) on your site, it pop's up right the way, almost has a notify on the screen...??

We have had a lot of requests for on-site notifications. It's a great idea, Annika. It's not on our current Product Roadmap, but I'm hopeful we can get to it in the coming year.
