Do we need a days worth of chat on our chat page?

How many of you would like the option to not have a days worth of chat saved before it is deleted?

My users are very uneasy about this and I have had several leave my group because they will not chat and have it there for every member to read for a day, and more who simply refuse to chat now.

I realize some want chat archives but those of us who dont should have the option to tick that we want say none, 1 hr, 6 hrs, 12 hrs, 24 hrs etc

Ning please this is going to be the downfall of my network. My members DO NOT want what they say online to read for 24 hrs. Could we have the option to save none or a bit.

+1  I would have to agree that we need to be able to clear the chat more often.

I don't understand why we can't clear chat.  When you have drama starting, the last thing you want is that junk lingering around in the chat room for everyone to gossip about.  NCs need this ability!!!

i'd like to see an option where we can allow it to store 30 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 12 hours and 24 hours....
