Double Repeat Posts on the Main Page Stream

The occurrence of repeat posting of one blog shows on the main page stream. This happens from time to time. Is there a specific action administrators can take to repair this?

Sometimes people will actually repeat the same post and you will see the number -1 or -2 meaning the exact same blog was repeated. However, this case did not have that indication in the URL

One other thought, the FORUM posts were showing here as "Latest Activity" and what I did was change to "Newest Discussion."

A few days later this phenomena continues. There have been no replies and I'm wondering if anyone else has this on their NING network?
